Road Map for February: Freshmen

You’re halfway through the year and around this time most students are choosing classes for 10th grade.  According to the IECA’s recent survey, taking a rigorous curriculum in high school is at least as important as a high GPA and test scores. As you choose your classes, I recommend taking the most challenging classes you think you can do well in—but not at a level that will be overwhelming.  I want you to have lots of options for college, but I also want you to have a positive high school experience with a manageable workload. To learn more the college admission process and what you can do now to be well-prepared and confident, register for College Admissions: A Road Map for 9th and 10th Grade Students on March 22.
