Road Map for June: Class of 2029

Congratulations on completing your first year of high school! Ninth grade is all about adjusting to new expectations, building good habits, and laying the groundwork for the years ahead. As the school year comes to a close and you reflect on what you accomplish, take note of the goals you set and the outcomes. What are you most proud of, and what would you like to improve moving forward?

Before you shift fully into summer mode, make sure to finish strong on final exams and end-of-year assignments. Check in with your teachers, stay organized, and take advantage of any opportunities to review or get extra help.

Once summer arrives, be sure to give yourself time to recharge. At the same time, think about ways to make the most of your time away from school. Whether that means pursuing a favorite hobby, volunteering, working, exploring an academic interest, or trying something completely new, meaningful summer experiences can help you grow and prepare for a successful sophomore year.
