Road Map for June: Class of 2028

As the school year comes to a close, think about what you accomplished this year. What goals did you set for yourself, and how much progress did you make? Celebrating your successes and learning from any setbacks can help you make the most of the summer and the year ahead.

For rising juniors, summer is an excellent opportunity to begin preparing for the college admissions process. One of the most valuable steps you can take is to start visiting colleges. Seeing a variety of campuses can help you better understand what types of schools might be a good fit and make junior year visits more focused and productive. And if you haven’t taken your diagnostic SAT and ACT exams, do that soon to choose your test and plan your testing timeline. A little planning this summer can go a long way toward setting you up for a successful (and less stressful) junior year.
