03 Aug Road Map for August: Class of 2024

It’s almost back to school time and for some of you this will actually be your first time going to high school in-person. My primary advice to 9th graders is to set yourself up for a smooth transition to high school, and on the heels of this past COVID year, many 10th graders are still in that transition process. That means this will continue to be a time to settle into new routines and connect with people who can support you throughout your high school career. This may include teachers, counselors, club advisers, coaches, and of course peers. Strengthening relationships with the people around you will set you up for a successful high school experience, so make that one of your goals in the coming months.
