04 Sep Road Map for September: Sophomores

Your focus for the back-to-school season: get off to a strong start for the year.  On the academic side, connect with your teachers to make sure you are clear on their expectations, and check in with your school counselor.  Students in the Class of 2021 can also enroll in monthly study skills classes on Capitol Hill and in Northern Virginia. More broadly, set SMART goals for the month or the first quarter and think about ways to get and stay organized for the year, such as adding important dates to your calendar.  And as sports and clubs start back up, think about which of your activities you might like to get more involved in.  Finally, if you’re looking for September service opportunities, search here for local events in honor of 9/11.
