04 Jul Road Map for June: Class of 2028
Summer is the perfect time to pause and reflect on what you want out of your high school experience. What subjects did you enjoy most last year? What made them interesting? What activities outside of class excited you? Taking time to get to know yourself better can help you make thoughtful choices about classes, extracurricular activities and, eventually, colleges that are the right fit for you.
If you haven’t started visiting colleges yet, consider adding a tour or two to your summer plans. You don’t need to travel far—visiting a local campus or one near a family vacation spot is a great start. Try to see a mix of big and small schools in different settings to get a feel for what appeals to you. The end of summer is an especially good time, as many college students will be back on campus, giving you a clearer picture of campus life.
