01 Nov Road Map for November: Freshmen

By this time of year I hope you’ve settled into a solid routine for your classes. Have you started exploring activities outside of academics? Think about what you enjoy in your free time or something you’d like to learn more about.  Check out a club at school or maybe a service opportunity that sounds like fun.  We’re entering the “giving season,” and many nonprofit organizations have a need this time of year for volunteers.  You can get a taste of what the group does and if a program is a good fit, you can continue serving throughout the year to gain experience, learn more about possible careers, and meet mentors.
