Road Map for May: Freshmen

As you gear up for your first high school finals, this is your chance to finish the year strong.  Putting in the work now has extra payoff, since both your last term grades and your exam grades will benefit. Here are my tips:

  • Start reviewing now – don’t wait until the exams are upon you.
  • Make a plan. Figure out what you need to review for each class, and use these worksheets to plan what you’ll do each week from now until the end of school.
  • Don’t go it alone. Connect with your teachers for input on your study plan and advice on how to do well in each class. Then find study partners. In addition to learning from someone else and sharing your own strengths, having someone else involved may help you by creating accountability for sticking to your plan.
