Road Map for December: Sophomores

If you took the PSAT you’ll be getting your scores soon.  Have you created an account at Raise.me? Be sure to enter information about taking the exam and your results and research some of the colleges that offer microscholarships for your scores.

It’s a great time to set goals for the new year, but many students find it more effective to set short-term goals than year-long ones. Take a look at your first marking period grades and think about where you’d like to improve.  Then figure out the steps to make that happen, and share your goals with a family member, teacher, or friend.  Having both a plan and accountability will make it more likely you’ll succeed.  If your goals include improving your grades or study skills, one of your steps might be registering for Better Grades in Less Time on January 27 at the Hill Center.
