Road Map for April: Freshmen

We’re getting close to the homestretch of the year, and as we look ahead, many students are finalizing their 10th grade course selections. Colleges like to see students challenging themselves, and my rule of thumb is to take the most rigorous classes you can do well in without becoming overwhelmed. This means looking at the options for each class as well as your overall workload.  If you can handle the higher level course in math, English, history, science and foreign language, that’s great—but if you’re not confident you can handle them all at once, it doesn’t make sense to overload yourself.  Choose based on your strengths and interests, or contact me for additional guidance.
