Road Map for April: Freshmen

We’re now closer to the end of the school year than the beginning. How does your high school experience so far compare to what you expected? Are you finding yourself challenged? If not, are there opportunities you can seek out and take advantage of? If you’re challenged, but not in a good way, where can you go for additional support to get back on track? Hint: Start with your teachers.

This is a great time to create a resume (or if you already have one, to update it.) Think about activities you’ve been involved in this year and what you’ve learned from them.  A resume can help you keep track of your accomplishments throughout high school and will be important when you’re looking for internships and jobs. You might also need or want to include one when you’re applying to colleges.  To get started, check out these sample student resumes.
