Your Girl Scout Experience and the College Search: Seniors Workshop
In this workshop for Seniors and their parents, girls will learn how their Girl Scout experience can make them stronger candidates for college and inform their college search. We’ll discuss what colleges are looking for and how to develop your qualifications, as well as how to identify schools that will be a great fit. Participants will also receive a timeline for preparation and applications, including standardized testing and financial aid. By the end of the event Girl Scouts will be well-prepared to complete Steps 1, 2 and 3 toward the College Knowledge badge and all steps of the Financing My Future badge.
Cost: $25 per student.

In this workshop for Ambassadors and their parents, girls will learn how their Girl Scout experience can inform their college search and strengthen their college applications. We’ll discuss what colleges are looking for and how to highlight your qualifications, as well as how to identify schools that will be a great fit. Participants will also receive a timeline of the application process, guidance on standardized testing, and an overview of the financial aid system. By the end of the event Girl Scouts will be well-prepared to complete Steps 1, 2 and 3 toward the College Knowledge badge.

College Application Strategies for Girl Scouts (for Class of 2026 Ambassadors)
In this session, you’ll get an introduction to the Common Application with a focus on the activities and writing sections, and we’ll discuss how sharing your Girl Scout experiences and accomplishments can help you stand out in the admissions process.
Cost: $15 per student.

College Essay Strategies for Girl Scouts (for Class of 2026 Ambassadors)
In this workshop you’ll learn how to write an effective personal statement and great supplemental essays for each college by drawing on your Girl Scout experience. We’ll discuss how essays are used in the application process, guidance on choosing topics, writing tips for personal statements and school-specific essays, and Dos and Don’ts.
Cost: $15 per student.

Optional follow-up session: For a special Girl Scout rate of $99, add a 30-minute individual consultation on whatever you need most: finalizing topics, brainstorming for school-specific questions, crafting a “why” or “fit” essay, feedback on rough drafts, or final proofread.
