This session for high school freshmen and sophomores and their families will offer guidance on making college plans in the changed and changing environment of the coronavirus. We will look at what 9th and 10th graders might normally be doing at this point in high school, how the public health situation is changing things this year, and what students might expect between now and the beginning of their application cycle. We will also include information about what colleges are looking for, advice on researching colleges and planning for standardized tests, an introduction to the Common Application and the role of the college essay, and a brief overview of financial aid.
